sample of elementary guidance program
Watertown Elementary Schools' Guidance Program
Philosophy The Watertown Guidance Program provides activities, interventions and services which assist students in achieving their maximum personal development, both as individuals and as learners. Guidance and counseling are vital components of the educational process which help students recognize their needs and abilities, and develop strategies to realize their full potential. The primary role of the guidance staff is to implement a developmental guidance program that will help all students acquire skills in the educational, social, and vocational areas necessary for living in a multicultural society. Guidance counselors act as student advocates and work closely with other educators, parents and community members to provide opportunities for students to develop the skills necessary to lead productive, fulfilling lives.*Based upon philosophy developed by the Mass School Counselor's Association, May 1991
Student Competencies The elementary guidance counselor works to provide a healthy social-emotional environment for all students within the school setting. god's love
part2
Nadja a woman woman living with his husband for many years has just found her self depressed because of not having a child of their own. despite of that she and her husband still sticked to each other and live like the ordinary couple do,they live happily and harmoniously. though they have no child they never stop praying that one day they will be given A to be a parents of their own child,
one day Nadja dreamed that she was left by her husband because of not having child for many years
she cried and afraid to be left by her husband then she talked to him and her husband promised that no matter what happen he would never leave Nadja,
one day Nadja was feeling not well so she went to her doctor to know if she is sick. she was shocked when her doctor said that she was pregnant for a 2 months. when the Christmas eve came Nadja talked to her husband and she told to him that she was pregnant .her husband was so very happy and they thank god for that gift they had.
part2
Negative-the weak point of the story was that when Nadja thought that she would leave by her husband because of her incapability to have a child
Positive-The positive point of the story is the fact that her husband did not leave her regardless of their situation, that his husband accepted her whoever is she,the fact that they never loose trusting god and hoping that one day they will be given a chance to be a father and mother of their own child.
Part4
like Nanja I sometimes suspect people cause i do not trust people easily, but when in terms of trusting god its him that i trust my whole life, and like Naja I am a hopefuls that one day everything will fall on its proper place and all my problems will just fade away coz its god that guides me and its god that gives me people to trust with and to lean on with as i live in this world.
Part 5
with this story I have realized that its a nature of man to suspect and not to give trust easily, i have also realized after all it isn't bad to trust people around that maybe the reason why we don't trust people is that the fact that we are afraid to hurt by those people around us.
